Lars Falk was born in Aalborg, Denmark in 1956. Educated Plate- and Construction blacksmith at the global shiprepairer Aalborg Boilers International and emploied for 5 years. Before that he was stationed for 5 years in Greenland, Norway and Greece in various jobs. He started his stovemaker business in 1990, repairing and selling antique castiron- and swedish ceramic stoves. He's been a consultant in Denmark for 32 years, selling more than 900 ceramic stoves for Philip & Per Håve, Haave's Kakelugnar, Sweden.

From 2023 -  assisting the 130 year old polish tilefactory KAFLARNIA GROCHOWSKI developping a new series of swedish ceramic stoves for mostly the Scandinavian market. In this context PHILIPs KAKELUGNAR, SWEDEN has become main agent for KAFLARNIA in Sweden/Denmark with Lars Falk as representive consultant.

HANDBOOK FOR STOVEFREAKS/Håndbog for Ovnfreaks

Lars Falk published his book in October 2017 after writing about his beloved stoves for a year. He thought it was a pity to take his experience from 34 years as a stovemaker with him into the grave. Nothing had been published in Denmark in the past 50 years, so it was about time to change that. It contents 206 pages and 300 photos and illustrations concerning ceramic stoves, danish kitchenstoves, american kitchenstoves, old castiron stove, mass stoves, finish soapstone stoves, steel chimneys, module chimneys, renovation of old stoves, modern wood- and pellets stoves, solar energy and accumulation and much more.
